Paying off Student Loans...

I think one of the most compelling story coming out of Obama's background is that both he and Michelle are just a few years away from having paid off their student loans burden...

Why doesn't the campaign emphasize this fact? Hillary, Chelsea, McNain and McNain clans don't have a clue what a stressful burden it is for families and their kids alike to get loans - and pay them off...

David Brooks complains!!!

David Brooks on Meet the Press was complaining that Barak had become just like other politicians over the last few months ... that he was moving away from his message of hope and change!

I thought this was a very interesting comment. The media does everything to move the discussion from substantive topics to tabloid trash (as we recently observed in the ABC debate), pandering to the lowest common denominator - but then the media personalities like Brooks have the audacity to complain that Barak's elevated message is no longer. What do they expect - when there whole MO is to denigrate the level to discourse in the country...

Bitter - Exhibit A Nash McNabe

Nash McNabe was asked posed the flag lapel pin question that was used in the ABC debate last week has a tragic past. With all the challenges her and her husband have gone through - it was ironic that she seemed more concerned about Barak's lapel pin - rather than asking Barak how his government would be different so that people don't have to suffer like she and her husband have over the last several years.

I guess she gave up on her leaders helping her out a while back ... and now clings to lapel pins and their symbolic value...
